Accreditation must be collected at the main entrance of the Swiss Paraplegic Centre, Nottwil, next to the reception on the right-hand side. The start numbers for the Grand Prix and the Daniela Jutzeler Memorial will be distributed on the following dates:

Classification

Classification for Athletes with a Visual or Physical Impairment (VI and PI) will take place on Monday 25 May, Tuesday 26 May and Wednesday 27 May 2020.


Classification slots are allocated per Nation and therefore World Para Athletics will be in contact with your NPC/NF if you require classification. Athletes who will undergo Classification must arrive in Nottwil prior to the start of Classification.

 

PI Classification will take place at the Hotel Sempachersee, Nottwil.

VI Classification will be held at the Swiss Paraplegic Center, Nottwil.

By car
The A2 motorway (Basel /Lucerne) passes close by and from the Sursee exit (20) onwards both SPC and GZI are well signposted.

Rail and bus
The Nottwil SBB railway station, which is 700 m from the SPC, is wheelchair accessible. There is a bus stop right in front of the main entrance to the SPC. It is on the Sursee - Nottwil - Buttisholz - Ruswil - Wolhusen line. The buses are wheelchair accessible and run every hour. You can obtain public transport timetables and an info sheet about special services offered by SBB (Travel with reduced mobility).

Equipment storage

Personal Equipment, Throwing frames & Racing Wheelchairs

The storage facility is above the track in the military hospital bunker.

No racing wheelchairs in the sports hall or in the hotel!

 

Storage rooms will be made available at the Hotel Sempachersee and the Campus Sursee the day before leaving Nottwil.

 
 

 
 

Insurance

Competitors will have to provide for their own accident and liability insurances. The organisers exclude any liability and assume no responsibility for loss or theft of materials or personal belongings during the entire competition.

 
 

 
 

License

Foreign competitors must possess a valid WPA Athlete license. Swiss competitors must additionally possess a valid RSS license.

 
 

 
 

Meals

Athletes

Athletes will be provided with vouchers for lunch/dinner. All vouchers are attached to your start number.

 

Accompanying Persons

There will be a food stand in the competition venue selling a selection of snacks.

Technical aspects of the meeting as well as classifications are subject to the rules of the WPA.

Training Sport Arena Nottwil

The track and field can be used if it is freely available. No fixed reservations can be made. We ask for mutual respect.

 

The LOC do not provide any fitness and conference rooms.

Victory ceremonies

There will be some victory ceremonies per day in the Sport Arena Nottwil. For those participating in the victory ceremonies please be at the tent next to the time keeping tower at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time. From there you will be guided to the victory ceremony area.
