By car

Coming from St Gallen and St Margrethen follow the autobahn (motorway). Take the exit signposted Arbon-Süd for the town centre. From here the way to the parking lot is signalizes. From southern Germany we recommend crossing with the car ferry from Friedrichshafen to Romanshorn. From here the main road leads directly into the centre of Arbon.

Participants and spectators who travel individually with their own car, are responsible themselves for the transport to the competition area. Charges apply for all parking lots  except on competition days.

 

During the training sessions, the parking lots of the referees next to the sport hall are at the athletes disposal. Parking cards must be placed clearly visible behind the windscreen of the vehicle. Parking cards can be ordered in advance at: sm-15(a)rollstuhlsport.ch

 

There are transports provided for participants who travel by plane. The transports are provided during the whole event (training and competition days), from accommodation to the competition area and back. The time schedule for the transportation will be posted in the accommodations.

 

Public transport

Arbon is on the direct train line from Zürich to Rorschach, as well as on the line from Schaffhausen to Chur. At the train station in Arbon take the bus in the direction of St. Gallen until Wildpark, then 3 minutes walking until the arena Stacherholz.

In the categories T33/T34, T51/52, T53/54 women and men are rated according to the Swiss Point System with indication of the effective time.

 

 

Events must not be carried out if they are of no interest to Swiss athletes and/or have too few (less than three) entries. Should an event be cancelled, the athletes concerned will be informed of same by the organisers, after the closing date for entries.

 
 

 
 

Category divisions

The categories will be divided into series according to their best times. The division must guarantee a fair competition. There are no forerunning. There are no preliminary heats. Times in all races will be recorded. The stadium has 6 tracks (100 to 400m).

 
 

 
 

Training sport area Stacherholz

The sport area Stacherholz can be used from Monday, 1st to Wednesday, 3rd June and Friday, 5th June 2015. The track is booked from 2 pm to 5 pm for trainings. No private/personal reservations can be made. We ask for mutual respect.

 

The store room is open from 1.45 pm to 5.15 pm. In the morning the store room is closed.

Dressing room

Dressing rooms and douches are located outside of the sports hall Stacherholz.

 
 

 
 

Helmet

The wearing of an officially tested helmet is compulsory for all athletes. All athletes must wear helmets during the races (inclusive warm-up and cool-down).

 
 

 
 

Dress code/advertising

To competitions and to the prize ceremony, competitors appear with the official club dress (if available). The club’s name and up to three sponsors can be shown on the dress. These may involve the equipment logo, the club’s or one’s personal sponsor. Size and placement of the logos are not subject to specifications. Advertising on tracksuits, t-shirts, bags or others do not have a national restriction.

 
 

 
 

Sports equipment

Sports equipment are checked and identified in the call room.


Depot for wheelchairs

In the sports hall Stacherholz there is a depot for wheelchairs. (Only Saturday/Sunday) The storage room is open from Monday to Friday, from 1:45 pm to 5:15 pm. The organisers shall exclude any liability and assume no responsibility for loss or theft of wheelchairs.

 
 

 
 

Board

There are food facilities at the competition area. Meal vouchers are available for CHF 15.00 per voucher at the accreditation / information desk.

 

Athletes: Entry Fee includes meals, see «Entry Fee».

 

Escorts: Escorts: For escorts there are food facilities at the competition area. To reserve a place for the Athletes-Dinner on Saturday evening please contact Lola Pierobon (pierel(a)bluewin.ch). Vouchers that have been ordered from athletes and escorts can be collected and paid in cash (CHF 20.00) at the accreditation / information desk.

 
 

 
 

Prize ceremony

All Swiss athletes are medal-entitled. In all classes and competitions at a National medal will be awarded with medals – regardless of the number of Swiss athletes. The minimal requirement are 700 points (Swiss Point System).

 
 

 
 

Licence

Foreign competitors must possess a valid IPC license. Swiss competitors must additionally possess a valid SPV license.

 

The license check takes place at the information desk in the «Berufsschulhaus».

 
 

 
 

Rules

Technical aspects of the meeting as well as classifications are subject to the rules of the IPC. It is forbidden to make use of the assistance of non-officials. This will result in disqualification.

 

The event is sanctioned by IPC.

 
 

 
 

Insurance

Competitors will have to provide for their own accident and liability insurances. The organisers exclude any liability and assume no responsibility for loss or theft of materials or personal belongings during the entire meeting.
